Ιδιαίτερη τιμή και χαρά η συμμετοχή μου στο πάνελ
«Shaping Ground: How does landscape design create lasting value across scales — from city to resort to private retreat?»
στο πλαίσιο του Hotel Experience 2025 στην Τεχνόπολη του Δήμου Αθηναίων.
Μαζί με εξαιρετικούς συναδέλφους — και τις εύστοχες ερωτήσεις της Δανάης Μακρή — συζητήσαμε επίκαιρα θέματα γύρω από τα τοπία φιλοξενίας και την αρχιτεκτονική τοπίου εν γένει: από την αστική κλίμακα και τα resorts έως τους ιδιωτικούς κήπους.
Διερευνήσαμε πώς το τοπίο σήμερα δεν αποτελεί μια δευτερεύουσα χειρονομία, αλλά μια στρατηγική, οικολογική και βιωματική δύναμη που διαμορφώνει την ταυτότητα, τη μνήμη και τη μακροχρόνια αξία ενός τόπου.

It was a great pleasure and honor to take part in the panel “Shaping Ground: How does landscape design create lasting value across scales — from city to resort to private retreat?”as part of Hotel Experience 2025 at the Technopolis City of Athens.
Together with inspiring colleagues — and through the insightful questions of Danai Makri — we discussed key issues around hospitality landscapes and landscape architecture at large: from the urban scale and resorts to private gardens.
We explored how landscape today is not a secondary gesture, but a strategic, ecological, and experiential force shaping identity, memory, and long-term value.
