Landscape Workshop & Exhibition –  architectural competition «Regeneration and Reuse of former coal mines in the Western Macedonia region»

Landscape Workshop in the Framework of the award presentations and exhibition of the proposals of the architectural competition «Regeneration and Reuse of former coal mines in the Western Macedonia region»

  • Presentation of 1st Prize «eco_corridor» from topio7 ( Katerina Andritsou – Panita Karamanea – Thanasis Polyzoidis)
  • Lecture «Restoration of degraded post industrial landscapes: international examples» by Panita Karamanea (topio7) – Assistant Professor of Architectural and Landscape design  – School of Architecture – Technical University of Crete

The exhibition is open every day from 02/05 until 30/06.

Hours Monday – Friday 11.00-14.00 / Wednesday 11.00 – 19.00

Following extensive engagement with different Barcelona’s studies of landscape architecture they founded a landscape atelier: TOPIO7, Topio7 .
They won different awards in international landscape competitions:

Many thanks PHALA (to Panhellenic Association of Landscape Architects ) and the president Katerina Goltsiou for mentioning our urban design project “e_co_llectiva”(athensx4 / Thanasis Polyzoidis – Katerina Petsiou) in the framework of 27th IFLA EUROPE GENERAL ASSEMBLY in Brussels! (14-16 OCTOBER 2016, BRUSSELS)

Στη συγκεκριμένη συνάντηση εργασίας της IFLA Europe, η πρόεδρος του Π.Σ.Α.Τ κα Κατερίνα Γκόλτσιου εκπροσώπησε επίσημα το σύλλογο,
Ομιλία της Προέδρου του ΠΣΑΤ με τίτλο: “Futurescapes: Rethinking the Greek Urban Landscapes” στο πλαίσιο των παρουσιάσεων ‘Pecha Kucha’ με γενικότερο τίτλο FUTURESCAPES: Rethinking Urban Landscapes.
Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά έγινε σε έργα Ελλήνων αρχιτεκτόνων τοπίου σχετικά με το σχεδιασμό πάρκων (π.χ. πάρκο Σ. Νιάρχος, θεματικά πάρκα παραλιακού μετώπου Θεσσαλονίκης), αστικών λαχανόκηπων (e-collectiva project), φυτεμένων δωμάτων & προσφυγικών καταυλισμών (εμπλοκή του Π.Σ.Α.Τ. στη διαμόρφωση του προσφυγικού καταυλισμού στον Ελαιώνα Αττικής). Το αναλυτικό κείμενο θα δημοσιευτεί στο YEARBOOK 2016 της IFLA Europe.
