DESCRIPTION

The project is about the planting redesign of an existing jardinière located at a balcony in the suburbs of Athens. Taking into account the perspectives and the views not only towards the city but towards the balcony itself from the interior, the need of privacy and the attic climate, the new planting attempts to:
– Transform the balcony to attraction pole and reference point
– To create a filter that is “playing” with the view along with the wind making frames, concealing or revealing
– To create “pockets of nature”, introducing ecology and native plants into the city as parts of a wider attic Mediterranean landscape

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ

Η μελέτη αφορά στη μελέτη φύτευσης σε υπάρχουσα ζαρντινιέρα σε μπαλκόνι. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τις θέες τόσο από το ίδιο το μπαλκόνι όσο και από το εσωτερικό της κατοικίας προς σε αυτό, την ανάγκη ιδιωτικότητας και το αττικό κλίμα επιχειρείται ο επανασχεδιασμός της φύτευσης ώστε
– Να δημιουργήσει χώρου έλξης και σημείο αναφοράς του βλέμματος
– Να δημιουργήσει ένα ελαφρύ φίλτρο προς τις θέες που αναλόγως τον άνεμο καδράρει, αποκρύπτει ή αποκαλύπτει τη θέα
– να δημιουργήσει «μικροθύλακες φύσης», οικολογίας, αρωμάτων και χρωμάτων ως τμήματα του ευρύτερου αττικού άνυδρου μεσογειακού τοπίου.
